DJ ECB Watch: Inflation Rise Seen Ensuring End Of Rate Cuts

FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)--An uptick in inflation in Italy and a
higher-than-forecast rise in German prices support expectations that the
European Central Bank won't change interest rates the rest of this year.

"We have probably seen the end of the easing cycle at the ECB," said
Annemarieke Christian, a junior economist in the equity research division of
Morgan Stanley in London.
