One in nine UK Internet users, approximately 1m people, has tried Internet
banking and given up, according to new research from Forrester. Yet they
match the profile of the average online banker almost exactly. The only
difference is their confidence in online security. Those who regularly bank
online reported a confidence level of 89% in online security, compared to
just 44% for those who gave up.
