A takich miejscach rejestrują się zazwyczaj podejrzane instytucje
finansowe, które działają w sposób nieprzejrzysty. Pomaga im w tym
bardzo liberalne prawo finansowe.

W Unii EU lub USA prawo finansowe jest tak bardzo restrykcyjne, że nie
pozwala działać pewnym firmom i dlatego one prowadzą działalność w
egzotycznych krajach, jak np. Antyle Holenderskie.
